Zakhar Bron Chamber Orchestra - The Orchestra of Soloists!
The legendary musician and educator Zakhar Bron regularly brings together great young talents to form a unique ensemble, the Zakhar Bron Chamber Orchestra. An interplay of perfection, dedication and passion. The top-class string orchestra is supplemented with around 20 wind instruments especially for Interlaken Classics. The over 50 young musicians form the Zakhar Bron Festival Orchestra!
Great young talents from all over the world, already in the middle of their solo careers, united to form a top-class string orchestra: most of the musicians in the Zakhar Bron Chamber Orchestra are winners of international competitions. Due to the successes and competition awards they have already achieved, many in the orchestra have the opportunity to play on very valuable instruments, which is unique for such a young orchestra.
In 2015 the orchestra made its debut in the Berlin Philharmonic, the Cologne Philharmonic and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. In Interlaken the orchestra played with famous artists such as Sabine Meyer, David Garrett, Alice Sara Ott, Daniel Hope, Natalia Gutman, David Geringas, Maxim Vengerov, Mischa Maisky, Konstantin Lifschitz and Vadim Repin.
