Since the 1990s, Interlaken Classics has positioned itself as a "young classical music festival" with a very high-quality and diverse programme.

OUR TRADITION

The Interlaken Classics are among the oldest festivals for classical music in Switzerland. Known for several decades as the «Interlaken Music Festival Weeks», today we focus on top-class music for young people, which sets us apart from other festivals in Switzerland.

Our vision
We are one of the most important classical music festivals for young musical talents in Europe. And we want to bring classical music closer to children and young people in the Bernese Oberland, also to build a new audience for the future.

OUR CLUB

Our association has existed for over 40 years and can count on the support of around 250 members. In order to fulfill its purpose, it relies on the support of the public sector (Canton of Bern / Office for Culture, the local communities of Interlaken, Unterseen and Matten as well as the communities of the Oberland-Ost regional conference), on patrons and patrons and, in particular, on sponsors. We offer our partners exciting benefits in return.

The association is tax-exempt. Individuals and companies can deduct their donations from taxable income/profit.
