Introduction

Since the 1990s, Interlaken Classics has positioned itself as a classical music festival with a very high quality and varied program with a focus on young talent.

OUR TRADITION

The Interlaken Classics are among the oldest festivals for classical music in Switzerland. Founded in 1961 as the Mozart Weeks and known for over three decades as the «Interlaken Music Festival Weeks», today we concentrate on promoting the greatest young talents, which sets us apart from other festivals in Switzerland.

OUR VISION

We are one of the most important classical music festivals for young musical talents in Europe. With our own orchestra, young soloists, master classes and many other projects, we consistently implement the promotion of young talent.

OUR CLUB

The Interlaken Classics association can currently count on the support of around 250 members. In order to fulfill our purpose, we depend on the support of sponsors, foundations and patrons. We offer our partners exciting benefits in return.

We are also very generously supported by the Office for Culture of the Canton of Bern, the local municipalities of Interlaken, Unterseen and Matten and the municipalities of the regional conference Oberland-Ost.

The association is tax-exempt. Individuals and companies can deduct their donations from taxable income/profit.
