Since his success at the ARD competition in 1986, Reinhold Friedrich has appeared on all the important podiums in the world. His debut at the Berliner Festwochen (1982) with “Quellena In 2003, Claudio Abbado (†) appointed Reinhold Friedrich as permanent principal trumpeter of the Lucerne Festival Orchestra.
Eriko Takezawa was born in Hiroshima (Japan) and received piano lessons from the age of five. In 1984 she came to Germany and studied with Naoyuki Taneda and Wolfgang Manz at the Karlsruhe State University of Music. In 1995 she completed the concert exam with distinction. Master classes with Jürgen Uhde, Edith Picht-Axenfeld and Detlef Kraus rounded off her training. Eriko Takezawa has won awards in competitions at national and international level, most recently winning first prize as a soloist at the international piano competition in Ostuni (Italy).
